SunShade by ScreenEx® blocks up to 80% of the sun's energy and protects against fading and sun rot while allowing in soft light. It's like having a shade tree in front of your window. SunShade fabric color options are oyster and charcoal. The lighter color fabrics offer the best solar energy control while the darker fabric allows better visibility to the outdoors. Oyster, the lighter color, reflects the sun's energy and is most effective in blockingout the sun'd heat and UV rays from your home. Charcoal, the darker fabric, provides more visibility to your yard and outdoors, but absords the sun's heat which allows more heat into the room compared to the oyster color. Applications: |

SunShades:
• for windows, doors, sliders, French doors and extra wide openings
• protects against fading and sun rot
• lets in soft light and breezes
• blocks approximately 80% to 85% of solar energy (with lighter color fabrics)
• basket weave fabric weave with approximately 10% openess factor
• retracting shade is heavy-duty woven mesh in a choice of oyster and charcoal
• windows and extra wide openings are pull down operation
• doors are available in pull down or side pull operation
• tracks and cassette available in choice of white, almond or brown (custom colors available for an additional charge)
• shade disappears into storage cassette when not in use
• same retracting system as ScreenEx retracting screen doors and windows
• for installing inside the home, only
Easy to measure and install!
Sizing and installation are the same as our retractable screens. Our do-it-yourself design installs in as few as 20 minutes with as few as 8 screws.
